**HMS is suspending our Visiting Student Program for clinical elective opportunities indefinitely due to COVID. As the situation continues to evolve, the website will be updated.**
Thank you for your interest in the visiting clerkships at the BWH/HMS Psychiatry Residency . We offer clerkship opportunities for third and fourth year Harvard Medical Students and visiting clerkships to medical students in their fourth year of accredited medical schools.
We strongly encourage medical students interested in pursuing careers in psychiatry to participate in one of our visiting student rotations through Harvard Medical School. If you are interested, please feel free to reach out to Associate Program Director Dr. Fremonta Meyer (Fremonta_Meyer@DFCI.HARVARD.EDU) to discuss your interest or with any questions on how to apply for a visiting clerkship.
If you would like to apply for a visiting clerkship, please contact the Harvard Medical School Registrar’s Office which can also help with available housing.
Support is available for African-American, Latino, and Native American applicants through Harvard Medical School’s Visiting Clerkship Program. This program provides a stipend toward the costs associated with participating in a visiting clerkship. For information about the program, contact the VCP project coordinator at:
